I am sitting quietly eating lunch when I get a text from my pal Tracy. “On phone with fake CRA (Revenue Canada) LOL.” She continues “MY name is Susan Blakey my address is 124 fakescam blvd
Passing me to higher authority so I can beg my case of owing $5439.36 and not be sent to jail. There is an arrest warrant with RCMP right now!! They’ve frozen my accounts!! But if I plead my case and state I wasn’t trying to defraud the government maybe…maybe there’s a chance I can resolve it.”
Looks like Tracy is having fun with a scammer. Yes she actually told them she lived at “124 fakescam blvd”, but to be fair to them, English was not their mother tongue.
Good news, Tracy texts me that she might not have to go to jail: “Talked to higher authority, will try to help me before I get arrested. But since so many people are in this same problem, I can’t tell anybody if they help me. No third parties can know about this. Lol”
Please remember that I told Tracy that I was quietly eating lunch. That doesn’t seem to have much impact on her as her next messages follow LOL.
Tracy – On hold now again while he pleads my case
Phil – LMFAO Love it
Tracy – Coming to pick you up until they want me to drive to go buy a “steam” gift card
Phil – What?
Tracy – On my way don’t say a word
Phil – Eating lunch lol
Tracy – Coming now
Phil – ??
Tracy – Come get in car with me and don’t say a word. I’m here. You coming?
So I grab my lunch and run out to her car to join in the fun. Here’s Tracy in boots , a winter coat and her PYJAMAS!!! Tracy now proceeds to back her car into a snowbank on my winding driveway LOL. I call my son out and the neighbour across the road comes over to see what has happened. We push her out and I climb back in and off we go again. Poof right into another snowbank. Tracy is now in tears laughing as we shove her out once more. Off we head.
She has this guy on live on the car speakers so she can’t really tell me what’s going on so, I am forced to listen and attempt to decipher it LOL.
Okay so now this guy tries to explain the STEAM cards Tracy has to buy to pay Canada Revenue LOL.
Steam cards are some kind of gaming payment card it would appear. If you click the link you will see how “official” they look. These people told Tracy that STEAM stands for, are you even ready for this, “Standard Tax Evasion and Assessment Matter” card. OMG I am dying here.
In our next clip our “actress” lays it on pretty thick LOL.
The “Tax Man” tries to calm Tracy down. What a great guy.
He then offers Tracy another option. I-Tunes gift cards are apparently government issued too just like STEAM cards LMAO
They are pretty sure they are about to strike gold.
Well we have wasted an hour of their time when they might have been duping someone out of their savings so it was time to say goodbye to them and I finally got a chance to get in on the act.
But, our Tracy wasn’t finished yet with these guys. After a couple of hours she decided to call the number again. Seven minutes more with these gentlemen resulted in the following.
She called and told them she was Susan Blakey and that they talked to her earlier today trying to scam her.
She told him the address she had given earlier (“124 fakescam blvd”) and that they were pretty stupid to not realize she was on to them. He actually laughed. She asked him why does he try to steal money from people.
He said “to make fools of Canadians”!
She asked him what country he’s in, he said he didn’t know. Tracy asked if he was blindfolded in a basement and he said yes lol. She asked him how he slept at night. He said he didn’t, while still laughing. Tracy asked him how he’d like someone to do this to his mother and he said he wouldn’t and that he would quit “just for you” with more laughing. He told her she had him going pretty good but that he didn’t believe she went into a store because he couldn’t hear “store sounds”. He told Tracy that as of 2018 the RCMP made it legal to scam people LOL. Tracy then advised him that his number has been traced and hung up. Interestingly, the number does not seem to be in service when we called later.
Tracy did report them to the RCMP just so you are aware. If you would like a chance to play along try call this number 613 927 9255 and if it is working again, tell them they called you with a recorded message and you are calling back because you don’t want to go to jail or pay a $50,000 fine. They have already frozen your bank accounts and your assets are being seized. You will have 90 minutes to pay up or a warrant will be issued for your arrest. You are absolutely NOT to contact any third parties as this is not a chance they give to just anyone.
Enjoy
